V. Title IX Coordinator

Under Title IX:

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

The College has designated a senior administrator to serve as the Title IX coordinator.  The Title IX coordinator is charged with monitoring compliance with Title IX; ensuring appropriate education, training, and notifications; overseeing reports; coordinating the College’s investigation, response, and resolution of all reports under this policy, and ensuring appropriate actions to eliminate Sexual Misconduct Violations, prevent their reoccurrence, and remedy their effects.  The Title IX coordinator is available to meet with any student, employee, or third party, including Five Colleges interchange students and Five College shared employees, to discuss this policy or the accompanying procedures.  The College has also designated deputy Title IX coordinators who may assist the Title IX coordinator in the discharge of these responsibilities.  The Title IX coordinator and deputy Title IX coordinators receive appropriate training to discharge their responsibilities.
